What is the Difference Between In-Person, Virtual Live, and Online LSVT Certification Courses? 

 

All three course types offer the same world class training and same LSVT certification, just delivered in a slightly different format.  Choose the option that works best for you and your schedule! 

What is the Difference Between LSVT LOUD and LSVT BIG? 

 

The LSVT LOUD course is designed to train speech-language pathology professionals and students in a voice/speech treatment technique for adults and children with motor speech disorders, with a specialty in Parkinson disease (PD). 

 

The LSVT BIG course is designed to train physical and occupational therapy professionals and students in a treatment to address movement and daily functional activities through this amplitude based intensive treatment for PD, stroke and other diagnoses. 

What is the Difference Between LSVT LOUD and LSVT LOUD for KIDS? 

 

The LSVT LOUD course content content and videos focuses on adults with Parkinson's and other neurological disorders. 

 

The LSVT LOUD for KIDS course looks at treatment through the pediatric lense with application to a variety of pediatric diagnoses including Down syndrome and cerebral palsy. 

 

Both courses provide the same LSVT LOUD certification. 

Are Continuing Education Credits (CEU's) Offered for LSVT Courses? 

 

Yes! You will find a link in the course description for each course that will take you directly to the detailed document that shows you all of the approvals. 

Can Therapy Assistants in the US get LSVT Certified?

 

Yes! Physical therapist assistants (PTA's), occupational therapy assistants (OTA's), and speech language pathology assistants (SLPA's) can get LSVT Certified. 

 

Assistants do need to have a physical, occupational, or speech therapist in their own discipline also certified in LSVT who can complete the evaluation, determine appropriateness for LSVT treatment, set the goals and plan of care, and provide any necessary supervision as designated by the state you practice in.  

Can students get certified in LSVT LOUD or LSVT BIG?

 

Yes, students can get certified! 


LSVT LOUD Training and Certification is open to graduate students enrolled in a program to become a speech-language pathologist.
 
LSVT BIG Training and Certification is open to students enrolled in university professional programs to become a physical therapist, physical therapist assistant (USA), occupational therapist, or occupational therapy assistant (USA).   
 
Students, residents, and fellows qualify for reduced registration rates for the LSVT LOUD and LSVT BIG Courses. See course listings for details.  

How do I access my course that I purchased? 


After you register for a course and your payment has been processed, you will receive several emails. 
·      The first email will be your order confirmation. 
·      If you registered for an LSVT LOUD or LSVT BIG Training and Certification Course, you will also receive an email from DocuSign requesting that you review and sign the Clinician Practice Agreement (CPA).  
·      After signing the CPA, you will receive an enrollment email from LearnUpon with directions on how to access your course.  LearnUpon is the learning management system used by LSVT Global. *NOTE: This can take up to 3 hours.
·      Please check your spam folder if you did not find these emails. For additional assistance, email training@lsvtglobal.com.  
·      You will NOT access your course from the LSVT Global Store or your customer account.

Is my customer account in the store different from my clinician account or LearnUpon account? 

 

Yes. You may have access to several different accounts through LSVT Global. 
1.        Your Customer Account in the LSVT Global Store will show you information about your orders and products you have viewed.  
2.        LearnUpon is the learning management system used by LSVT Global. This account is where you will access any course you registered for, including the LSVT Training and Certification Courses, LSVT Certification Renewal Courses, or the BIG for LIFE and LOUD for LIFE Training Courses. 
3.        Clinicians with an active LSVT Certification will have access to a Clinician Account. This contains a wealth of resources exclusive to you, such as clinician webinars, treatment tools, and videos.
