The In-Person LSVT BIG Training and Certification Course is a mix of online, pre-recorded learning and in-person interactive learning designed to train physical and occupational therapy professionals and students in an evidence-based, intensive, treatment program for individuals with Parkinson's disease. The fundamental treatment principles and rationale, key treatment elements, efficacy data supporting treatment outcomes, details of treatment tasks, and practical delivery will be covered. Teaching techniques include both live and pre-recorded lecture, live and video demonstrations, live instructor led exercise practice, live Q & A, and case study presentations. Discussion will be included on application to other neural disorders and personalization of the treatment to meet the unique functional goals of each patient.

- May 14 - June 12, 2025: Complete 3 hours of pre-recorded online content
- June 13, 2025: Day 1 In-Person - 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM Eastern Time
- June 14, 2025: Day 2 In-Person - 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Eastern Time
- June 14- June 28, 2025: Complete final exam

Audience: Physical and Occupational Therapists, Physical and Occupational Therapy Assistants, and students enrolled in those programs. *LSVT BIG treatment provided by LSVT Certified PTAs, COTAs or students must be delivered under the direction of LSVT BIG Certified PTs or OTs, respectively.

Steps to Certification
- Read and sign the LSVT Clinician Practice Agreement (CPA), which will be emailed to you upon registration.
- After signing, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access your course in LearnUpon, our learning management system. You will not access it from the LSVT Global Store.
- Complete the LSVT BIG Training and Certification Course within 60 days of signing the CPA.
- Take the LSVT BIG Certification Exam online and pass with an 84% or higher score. Retakes of the exam are available at no additional cost.
